In his keynote speech, Rev. Fr. He stressed the significance of transparently showcasing the activities undertaken by AIDA, especially as the organization is supported by numerous funders who entrust their resources to projects aimed at improving the lives of the under privileged. These achievements, according to Rev. Fr. Mathew, are not merely organizational benchmarks, rather, they are evidence of the transformative influence that AIDA has had on impoverished communities across the four North-eastern states where it operates.
In his remarks, the Executive Director of AIDA underscored the importance of documentation and visibility in the development sector. He underlined the adage "seeing is believing," pointing out that thorough documentation of AIDA's development is essential to guaranteeing accountability, transparency, and effect assessment. The Executive Director elaborated on the measures initiated by AIDA to document the organization’s activities and achievements, including the detailed content of the Annual Report. The report not only outlines on-going initiatives aimed at addressing urgent social and economic challenges but also provides an in-depth look at the processes involved in executing these projects. He expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the tireless dedication of AIDA's employees and partners, whose contributions have been instrumental in making the organization's projects successful and impactful. Their commitment, he noted, continues to drive AIDA’s mission of creating sustainable, long-term improvements in the lives of the region’s most vulnerable communities.
