In the last two years the Covid-19 pandemic which affected the whole world was another occasion when AIDA very responsibly responded as an NGO for the people affected by the pandemic in various ways. In the first and second waves of the pandemic AIDA did commendable relief works by providing grocery items, Sanitisation materials, provided for the covid-19 quarantined people, provided face masks, created awareness among the people on how to deal with the pandemic, etc., in the states of Assam, Nagaland, Manipur and Upper Assam. So far AIDA has reached out over 80,000 beneficiaries providing Dry ration, covid sanitizers and accessories. 52 educational institutions were provided with sanitizers and sanitizing equipment benefiting over 1lakh students, staff and parents.
